You can bring up to 25 guests, but for your comfort we suggest keeping it to 20 or less.
Patriot has a clean bathroom and plenty of seating for all your guests. We have coolers, ice, cups, bottled water, plates, napkins, and small tables.
We have a full list of beers, wine, champagne and soft drinks. Just place your order when you book your charter and we’ll have everything chilled and ready to go for your cruise. All guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcoholic beverages on our vessels. Our crew will set up, serve and clean up the bar during your cruise. Just sit back with your cocktail and enjoy the ride!
We do not provide catering services, but you are free to bring along your own snacks and Hor’s d oeuvres? Hot food is not recommended as we do not have facilities to keep the food warm during your cruise. We will provide, plastic cups, paper plates, and napkins, and our friendly crew will be happy to set up the food station and assist with serving the food and drinks.
The Patriot has a full top and roll down plastic side curtains that will keep you warm and dry throughout your cruise.
Yes, the Captain is fully Coast Guard licensed and has many years of experience operating vessels in Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. The crew members are also coast Guard trained and certified. All our vessels are inspected annually for compliance with all US Coast Guard regulations to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers.
It’s usually cooler on the water. In the spring and fall a lightweight jacket and pants are appropriate. Even in the summer you may want a jacket or sweatshirt for sunset sails. Sunblock, a good hat, soft soled shoes, sneakers or sandals are recommended. Don’t forget your camera!
Paid parking is available in the Mooring Restaurant parking lot which is located right next door to Oldport Marine’s Dock. Patriot is docked in front of the Oldport Marine office building.
Unfortunately swimming is not permitted under our insurance, so swimming is not allowed while on the charter.
